“Allow everyone to fully live experiences without leaving any other trace than those of their footsteps. - Protecting our planet for a more sustainable future.”

AIGLE has long regarded sustainable development as one of its core values, continuously striving to create green fashion that emphasis on both style and environmental conservation. As public awareness on environmental concerns increases across the globe, AIGLE is taking one step further in showcasing its sincerity and determination in bringing positive impact. Last year in France, the heritage brand officially registered as a Purpose Driven company, sealing its commitment to make fashion sustainable and responsible by signing various ambitious charters in the textile industry and actively supports conservation organizations through joint initiatives. AIGLE is determined to implement its brand purpose —“Allow everyone to fully live experiences without leaving any other trace than those of their footsteps. - Protecting our planet for a more sustainable future.”—into solid actions.

To bring the sustainable message to consumer via brand new shopping experience, AIGLE open Hong Kong’s first pop-up store launched in Causeway Bay.

Minimalist & Mordern Interior

Located at Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay, the pop-up is based on the latest concept store, “ÉLÉMENTS”, that was opened on the Boulevard des Capucines in Paris this year in June. Setting apart from the iconic traditional French aesthetics of other branches, the store comes with a minimalist and modern interior featuring cement grey, cream white and hues of natural wood, complemented by eco-conscious design elements such as sustainable fine-grain wood and natural stone decor to highlight the textures and style of the entire store. As for the layout, the designer took advantage of the expansive space and allocated different areas each dedicated for menswear, womenswear and childrenswear, along with a shoe section featuring a miniature rubber forest exclusive to the pop-up.

Handcrafted rubber boots have always been a popular hit at AIGLE, thus the designer drew inspiration from the craftsmanship behind this signature item. Using recyclable materials from discarded waste such as rubber tires and more, a feature wall has been made containing a miniature rubber forest, made to integrate the design concept of AIGLE with nature. Taking it a step further, the section also plays host to different rubber boots and shoe display, putting an emphasis on the sustainable shopping experience.

Adhering to the environmental preservation concept at its Parisian concept store, the Hong Kong Pop-Up has also made use of a number of eco-friendly displays and decorations in ensuring customers are immersed in a green living ambiance, and hopefully re-examine the value of recycling. In the meantime, we have also collaborated with various Design and Development Entities in Hong Kong:

Mannequins at the window displays: made from infinitely recyclable materials

Fitting room stool-seater by OOObject: made of 34% used AIGLE Rubber Boots; and legs by Woodrite made of upcycled wasted wood

Display Bricks by Gaau1 Up Design Studio: made of upcycled plastic, developed from recycle plastic bottles and lunch boxes

Cloth hangers: made by German manufacturers using grass and other recycled plastics.
