Following debuts in Paris, Brussels and Tokyo, AIGLE arrives in Hong Kong to present its latest exhibition: "AIGLE: Savoir Faire, Savoir Vivre" meaning ‘having the know-how, knowing how to live’ in French. The display took place from 7 March through to 12 March at the Oval Atrium, Podium Level 1, ifc mall, Central. The AIGLE KNOW HOW EXHIBITION revealed the master craftsmanship behind the brand’s heritage in boot manufacturing.

Straight from the workshop in Châtellerault, France, a trolley carrying aluminum boot moulds, raw materials and blocks of natural rubber were displayed at the exhibition. For the first time in Hong Kong, visitors were able to see original boot models from its archives, a symbol of AIGLE’s rich brand history. There was also fun for the children, a giant wooden boot designed as a cabin was featured and was a great place to take photos!

Images chronicling AIGLE’s handcrafted manufacturing process taken by French fashion photographer Vincent Leroux brought an artistic workshop atmosphere to the exhibition. The photographs had also been compiled in a beautiful book.
